Aviation Activities and Woman in Aviation for National Aviation Day

Updated: Feb 9, 2021

August 19th is National Aviation Day and today I wanted to shine a special spotlight, not only on Aviation, but specifically women in this field! There have been some AMAZING and influential women making strides in the industry, but as of 2014, only about 5% of the people working in the industry are women. We can definitely do better, and maybe part of making that change is showing kiddos of today that women do belong in Aviation and other STEM fields. :) Check out some of the links below to learn about Aviation and Women in Aviation.
