The History of Halloween - Learning Fun for Kids

Do you love dressing up and going trick or treating every Halloween, but wonder why you do it? There is an entire history about the origins of this fun holiday!

I picked up the level three reader, History of Fun Stuff; The Tricks and Treats of Halloween which explores the unique history! This book touches on the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain in Europe, the Christian celebration of All Saints' Day, and lots of other events that gave us the groundwork for the holiday we all know and love today.
