What is... The Women's Rights Movement?

Updated: Feb 9, 2021

This week is the anniversary of the 19th Amendment - when women, rightfully, gained the right to vote! We will be exploring so much about the Women's Rights Movement over the next few months as we not only are in this anniversary year, 2020, but we also are in the midst of a historic election year!

I read this fabulously informative book, What is... The Women's Rights Movement, this week. Filled with biographies, rich history and photographs from the past.

Here is the book description from its Amazon listing, "From Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton to Gloria Steinem and Hillary Clinton, women throughout US history have fought for equality. In the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, women were demanding the right to vote. During the 1960s, equal rights and opportunities for women--both at home and in the workplace--were pushed even further. And in the more recent past, Women's Marches have taken place across the world. Celebrate how far women have come with this inspiring read!"

Absolutely run out and buy this book, if it is still available from Book Outlet when you read this blog post, use my referral link to sign up and you get $10 off your $25 order. http://bookoutlet.com/Loyalty/Referral?raf=wVFigwod&c=url
